David B. Holton
David B. Holton was born and raised in Westminster, VT. He is a 10th generation Vermonter. In fact, the Holton family was living in Westminster for two generations before Vermont became a state.
After graduating from VT Academy in Saxtons River, VT in 1968, David attended the University of Vermont and graduated in 1972 with a business degree. While at UVM, David played shortstop for the college baseball team.
David now lives in Essex Junction, VT with his wife Michele and their two children Lindsay and Christopher. David has many interests including skiing, golf, bicycle riding and spending time on Lake Champlain.
David is the President of The Essex Agency and has been a part of the Agency since 1974. He is a Certified Insurance Counselor and specializes in commercial insurance. He enjoys a long time friendship with numerous clients, many of whom he has worked with since he joined the agency.
