Shelby D. King, CIC
Shelby D. King, CIC joined The Essex Agency in 1992 after receiving a BS in Business Administration from Saint Michaels College and an associate’s degree in Business Management from Champlain College in 1989.
He is a native Vermonter presently residing in Underhill with his wife, and two children.
Shelby attained his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1998 by passing a comprehensive five part examination series. He continues to enjoy the privileges of the CIC designation and maintains its annual educational requirements.
He is active with his children’s sporting activities as a coach for the Underhill youth baseball, and soccer programs. He remains an avid sportsman engaged in a variety of land and water activities. Additionally, he is an active musician.
Shelby’s primary new business focus is with respect to commercial lines – however, he does maintain a strong book of personal lines business and actively pursues all referrals.
